New EV charge points in Hungerford

Lib Dem controlled West Berkshire Council are also introducing a facility for residents without private parking to use their own energy provider to charge their EV, by installing a channel for their cable in the roadside pavement. There are also 8 on-street charging points in Hungerford where power comes from a nearby street light.

Cllr Tony Vickers said “For years, the Lib Dems have pushed for a quick transition to low carbon energy to reduce our carbon emissions across West Berkshire.”
