Suzanne Adamantos

Sue is married with two grown up children and have lived in Thatcham for 35 years.

She has always worked in social care with children and families, and worked for West Berkshire Council for 17 years.

In her volunteer role she is a Deputy Director for Newbury Samaritans, and as she approaches retirement, she wants to contribute more to her local community.

Jeff Brooks

Jeff has lived in Thatcham since 1980, married to Andrea with two step-children and their own son, Jonathon. Jeff ran the Thatcham Charity Show for 14 years.

He was first elected as a Thatcham Town Councillor in 1992, subsequently serving on Berkshire County Council and, from 1997 on West Berkshire District Council. He led the Opposition for 10 years to 2015. Jeff was highly involved in getting the funding for Newbury Library. As a successful businessman, he will continue to challenge the way that the Council operates – from fixing potholes, to better procurement methods and public communication with the public.

Mark Jonathan Lillycrop

Mark Lillycrop and his wife Jenny have lived in Thatcham for over 30 years, and their children Becky and Jamie attended Parsons Down and Trinity schools. A former school governor and PTA treasurer, Mark is a keen supporter of performing arts in the local area and still treads the boards occasionally. A Town Councillor since 2019, he has been Chair of the Recreation & Amenities Committee and Community Engagement Working Party and is closely involved in Thatcham’s flood alleviation and heritage work. He was honoured to be appointed Deputy Mayor last year. Mark works in IT publishing, events and marketing.

 

Justin Alexander Pemberton

Justin Pemberton is an approved foster carer with almost 15-years of experience working in the financial services sector. Justin specialises in complex financial dispute resolution and arbitration and is also responsible for running a business with his wife Petra. Justin graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003 with a LLB Degree in Law.

Since this time Justin has completed further professional training in relating to banking, mortgages and lending, and arbitration, as well as Child Safeguarding – amongst others. Justin is an accomplished foster carer and volunteer for local charities and good causes, and he enjoys using his skills to help others and make a difference. Justin is inspired daily by his wife and their two foster boys. In his free time, Justin like to hike, cycle, travel, read, and even enjoys a Craft Beer or two!

Simon Everett Pike

Simon has lived in West Thatcham for more than twenty years. He was elected to Thatcham Town Council in 2019, and for the last two years has been the Chairman of its Planning and Highways Committee. He has represented the Council at two planning appeals, and wrote the Council's representations on the draft Local Plan for West Berkshire - in particular, objecting to its proposal for a massive housing development to the North East of Thatcham.

Simon is a keen walker, and chairs a body that advises West Berkshire Council on public rights of way and access to land.
