Newbury Central

Martin has lived in Newbury since 1991, is a keen cyclist and was a school governor for 10 years.

Martin is the current Leader of Newbury Town Council and is proud of the Lib Dems’ record of introducing outreach youth work, reducing the Council’s carbon footprint and upgrading several playgrounds. He’s also looking forward to opening the new Victoria Park café in 2023.

Louise was brought up in Newbury and has a long association with the town. Since 2016 she has lived with her family near the town centre, and is working as an independent communications consultant.

Louise is Deputy Chairperson for Newbury’s Neighbourhood Development Plan steering group and, as a keen supporter of local independent businesses, is a regular at Newbury market.
