Pedestrian crossing for Theale High Street

Join Alan Macro, West Berkshire Councillor for Theale, in asking for a pedestrian crossing at the eastern (Reading) end of Theale High Street to make the lives of Theale residents significantly better.

We, the undersigned, petition West Berkshire Council to provide a pedestrian crossing at the eastern (Reading) end of Theale High Street. This will enable the residents of flats in Elizabeth Court, Leonard Court and Cumber Place (many of whom are elderly) to cross more safely to the pharmacy, convenience store and bus stop. It would also enable people living in the High Street and in the Woodfield Way area to cross more safely to and from the bus stops.
